The Gan Megaminx V2M is Gan's 2nd megaminx and performs very well, it features a magnetic core which does function like the ball cores seen in other brands cubes and unlike the Gan 11/12/13/14, it is intriguing that Gan have gone with this instead of trying to use their own core magnet technology but I do think they have made the right decision. The Gan Megaminx V2M therefore has a degree of autoalignment similar to that of the Gan 251M Leap and the Gan 14, it does feature torpedoes to some degree but very minimally so they don't massively slow down the puzzle. The Gan Megaminx V2M is also the first megaminx to have maglev tensioning, however, this does not make much difference to the performance. It also comes with 36 different GES settings, it is interesting that Gan have not provided adjustable magnets but only adjustable tensions and elasticity levels. All in all, this puzzle feels really nice and I expect to see many top megaminx solvers switching to this, however many may stick to various modifications of the YuHu V2M due to the improved grip from the ridges, the Gan Megaminx V2M only has slightly depressed corners and not full ridges. I would say it feels like a more polished and slightly larger version of the DaYan Megaminx Pro M and would recommend trying it if you are interested in megaminx and want to try all your options. As of uploading this video I only have the UV coated version with the black face available which is probably going to be the most popular version, I hope to get the Grey face and frosted versions soon (I did get one for this video but they all sold out a while ago)
