"This week, I’m diving headfirst into Megaminx. No specific number of solves, no limits — just pure practice for 14 days to see how fast I can get.

I will start this today and see how fast I can get because I want to get a sub-2:00 average, which should be achievable This week, I’m diving headfirst into practicing the Megaminx. I don’t have a specific number of solves or limits—just pure practice for 14 days to see how much I can improve.

Currently, my average time is 4 minutes and 32.55 seconds. My goal is to see how much I can enhance my performance in one week of focused Megaminx practice. I’ll be concentrating on turning efficiency, last-layer recognition, and overall speed. Let’s see what happens!

You might be wondering why I’ve taken on this challenge. I recently attended a competition in Weston-super-Mare, and I will share more details about it later. While there, I met someone, and we had a nice walk around the village. Just before my round of Megaminx, I didn’t feel like competing, but he encouraged me to give it a try, and I ended up achieving a personal record. It may not have been the fastest PR, but it was significant, and I wouldn’t have accomplished it without my friend’s support. This experience has motivated me to practice Megaminx instead of focusing on other events like 3x3, 2x2, or 4x4.

I’m starting this challenge today, aiming for a sub-2:00 average, which should be achievable. Let’s see how fast I can get!

Weston-Super-Mare

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of attending a competition at Weston Super Mare. It was my first visit to this charming venue, and I was captivated by its beauty. The breathtaking view of the pier, stretching out over the shimmering water, made the 2-hour drive from London truly worthwhile. The coastline, with its golden sands and gentle waves, created a perfect backdrop for the event.

While I was competing in my round of megaminx, I heard a Scream from the 1 and only Aiden Granger The reason for this was that He had just broken the UK national record for megaminx but had now just broken a new WR this was astounding because he had not just barely broken the record but by a whole second and for a large event like megaminx this was truly astonoshing for me to witness
