MoYu is releasing a chair.

MoYu is releasing a chair.

MoYu have recently announced that they have a cube that they are willing to claim is also a chair. It seems from my experience that most people are too scared to sit (or stand) on a giant cube even though they can easily take the weight of a person. The DianSheng 35CM cube and the QiYi 38CM cube are both definitely capable of supporting the weight of a fully grown adult standing on top of them.

The new MoYu cube seems to be 40CM in size which will make it the new largest cube on the market and provide me with a new Unofficial World Record to claim. on MoYu's instagram post they have shown pictures of young children playing with the large cube together,

I have now received limited stock of this

they also have a picture of a mother sitting on it next to her child.

I am curious as to how far these giant cubes will be pushed, it is quite obvious that cube manufacturers are capable of making far larger cubes but there probably isn't very much demand for them, the shipping can often cost more than the product itself if you are not careful with how you get it shipped out. However, it appears that this new MoYu 40CM cube is significantly cheaper than the QiYi 38CM cube at wholesale, this could potentially allow for a price similar to the DianSheng 35CM cube and may give reasonable excuse for me to stock the product in the future. The price will probably be around £110 but you can spend a lot more than that on chairs!

In their marketing material, they have also roped in former world record holder, YuSheng Du, to do a solve on it, however, he seems to be pretty slow.
