Rowe Hessler finally breaks multi-blind world record

Rowe Hessler finally breaks multi-blind world record

Rowe Hessler finally broke the world record for 3x3 multi-blind on Saturday, this beats Graham Siggins who had previously held the world record since 2019. Rowe Hessler has been doing very large attempts for a few years now but his accuracy has often been quite low and he often ran out of time during the attempt, many of his recent attempts were of 70 cubes but he usually only solved around 50 of them each time which gives him 30 points in the multi-blind scoring system (number of cubes solved - number of cubes unsolved from the attempt).

This time, Rowe decided to attempt slightly fewer cubes, only 66 this time, and he solved 63 of them successfully, since only 3 cubes were unsovled, he got a total of 60 points which beats Graham Siggins world record of 59 points from back in 2022, it will be interesting to see whether Graham Siggins can reclaim his world record soon.

What is more remarkable is that Rowe Hessler has now achieved the longest gap between two world records, as he previously held the world record for 2x2 back in 2009-2010, it is also unusual for one person to hold world records in such completely unrelated events.
