The DianSheng 2x2 FTO M isn't actually the first magnetic 2x2 FTO on the market but it is obviously superior to the QiYi version which was released just beforehand, maybe QiYi were desperate to release it just in time so that they could at least sell a few. The DianSheng one is stickerless and has very slight indents in the corners, similar to on some megaminxes. The 2x2 FTO is also known as a Skewb Diamond and it works just like the FTO but in 2x2 form, however, you do need to learn an algorithm for swapping 3 centres so it isn't exactly a first step towards solving the FTO. The DianSheng one possibly even turns slightly better than the DianSheng FTO itself, I wonder if they will release other FTO related stuff such as maybe a 4x4 FTO?
