UKCA confirms that UK Championships 2025 will take place in Birmingham

UKCA confirms that UK Championships 2025 will take place in Birmingham

The UK Cube Association has confirmed that the UK Championships 2025 will take place in Birmingham, this time it will no longer be in late October/ early November as it has been for the past few years, it will be towards the end of August on August 22-24th, just before the bank holiday Monday. It looks like they are expecting to have a competitor limit of 500 as has been the case in Coventry for the past 3 years.

They have said they are not ready to announce the competition just yet but they have secured the venue, the competition is due to take place in the University of Birmingham Sports Centre, the same venue that will host Birmingham Spring 2025., although they will be using the whole hall and not just one section.

Sponsorships are not confirmed as yet but will be determined in due course, I am obviously open to sponsoring it but will have to wait and see. Birmingham is still quite a central location and there are good transport links to most parts of the UK so I am excited to see another big UK Championships.
