How I failed to qualify for clock at UK Championships 2023

How I failed to qualify for clock at UK Championships 2023
One of my only real goals at the World speedcubing Championships in Korea this year was to qualify to compete at the UK Championship in clock, last year the time required was a 12 second average, I was not too far off so I thought if I practiced a bit I could easily do it at worlds (and wouldn't it be funny to qualify for UK Championships at the world championships?) My average was way faster than required, it was 10.69, easily qualifying me for this years as yet unannounced UK championship, right? Unfortunately when UK Championships 2023 was announced they had decided to further reduce the qualification to just 10 seconds! Unfortunately this means that I did not make it and I can't be bothered to practice anymore to try and get under the 10 second barrier.
