QiYi are releasing a magnetic 9x9x9

QiYi have announced that they will shortly be releasing a magnetic 9x9, I have set this article to publish the day it is officially released in China, although it will probably be another week or two before I will have them available. The only other magnetic 9x9 on the market is the one from DianSheng but I feel QiYi definitely has the capability of beating DianSheng out on this, I suspect they will be able to offer their version for cheaper and hopefully it will perform slightly better.

QiYi have previously released an 8x8-11x11 series and those puzzles perform quite well but not as well as the DianSheng magnetic series, I am interested to see if QiYi can make a really good 9x9 and if they can then carry that over to other big puzzles, they haven't made a new 6x6 and 7x7 in a long time so there may be some improvements in their technology which can then carry over to that.

Over the past year or two we have seen a few releases that would suggest other cubes are coming which then just don't come so I do hope that this time we will see QiYi release a 9x9 and then also release an 8x8, 10x10 and maybe 11x11, maybe they will go even bigger and beat DianSheng to releasing larger magnetic puzzles.
