Super WeiLong V2 coming soon?

Super WeiLong V2 coming soon?

When YiHeng Wang first got his 4.05 world record average, we heard that there was a new MoYu cube coming because YiHeng Wang was using it, there were rumours circulating for a while that YiHeng actually had the only prototype in existence at the time.

However, we now have more details thanks to Antoine Cantin, he has revealed that the cube is likely to be released shortly after Chinese New Year, it also appears that MoYu will be releasing it with a smart cube option available too.

Unfortunately, the MoYu Super WeiLong has not been a very popular cube, many people were put off by the excessive packaging and the way that the cube watch strap was mocked, and ultimately, the release of the WeiLong V10 at a much lower price essentially killed off any remaining interest in the Super WeiLong.

It will be interesting to see how popular the Super WeiLong V2 will be, having it break the world record will definitely draw some attention but has MoYu already killed off its reputation with the previous Super WeiLong? And are people paying as much attention to the 3x3 world records now that YiHeng Wang is so far ahead?
