The YJ MGC 4x4 is a very popular magnetic 4x4x4 speedcube, it is from the well regarded YJ MGC series, it is stable and moderately fast and used by many top speedcubers, the cube is fast and has a moderate magnetic feel to meet the desires of the majority of speedcubers, it is the sort of cube that you can't really go wrong with as it has performance similar to the top 4x4x4 options but is almost half the price.

QiYi have released a series of new budget magnetic cubes which are meant to have the performance of high-end premium cubes with a budget price, from pre-release reviews, they seem promising.

for a long time cubers have enjoyed magnetic 4x4x4s but have had to magnetize them themselves, many cubers found that the performance of a meilong 4x4x4 M was very good but without magnets it is not so good. now there is a factory magnetic version so cubers no longer have to do it themselves.

This is probably the best 4x4 on the market and it is slightly smaller than most 4x4x4s at 59mm making it perfect for cubers with smaller hands and it is a fast and smooth puzzle that will be an aid to any speedcuber wanting to improve their 4x4 times. It is slightly better than its bigger counterpart but if you have large hands, this is not for you.

The MoYu RS4M is a reasonable budget 4x4x4 with a stupid name, it features many of the standard features of new 4x4x4s and is somewhat a QiYi MS with MoYu plastic, as it is somewhat scratchy but not in a bad way. Out of the box it is a bit too slow and locky but with a fair amount of break in it becomes faster and the lock-ups stop happening so much. I think some people will like this cube so would recommend it to people willing to try a range of cubes to find their preferences.

The ShengShou 4x4 Mirror Cube is a 4x4 variant of the classic mirror cube, the mirror cube is a puzzle which is solved by matching the differenty heights of the pieces instead of the different colours on a normal cube, previously most large mirror cubes have had to be 3D printed but the 4x4 mirror is now available at a reasonable price. I feel this might be quite challenging as matching the centres up may be quite challenging.

The X-Man Ambition is a 4x4x4 speedcube designed by Jim Zhang from QiYi, it comes with more stability and smoothness than other 4x4x4 options currently available but is a bit slower, it is lighter than other 4x4x4s at only 106g and measures in at 60mm which is about the standard for modern 4x4s. It comes with pretty small but strong magnets inside the cube to help align the layers, it has a soft and buttery smooth feel to it as should be expected from QiYi, a well known speedcubing brand.
