Until 2021, DianSheng were known for producing pretty bad cubes, sometimes marketed as speedcubes but with terrible performance, and also some non-WCA puzzles. Recently they have begun to produce decent speedcubes at a low price range leading the speedcubing community to take a renewed interest in their products.
