Gan 356X Review

Upon unboxing this cube was amazing, very stable, controlled speed and no lock-ups, I used it as my main for a while and broke Many PB's. I set mine up with a heavier lubricant on the pieces, providing a comp-stable cube. This way my cube was slower, allowing my performance in comp to improve. It has a very crunchy sound, but the feeling is smooth. However, as I used the cube more, I began to develop a liking for the 354, due to its smaller size and speed. The 356X began to be uncontrollable, and lock up. I had a good experience with this cube, and along with proper setup, can be perfect for almost any cuber, however for me, I just lost a liking for it, and would much prefer the 354M or the WRM.

The GAN 356X was Gan's flagship cube, but it is still one of the best cubes on the market and comes with many customisation features such as the ability to quickly change magnet strength and spring tension at a level that other manufacturers cannot show. For advanced solvers, this is a must.
