4x4 Blindfolded world record holder, Stanley Chapel, has teased his bounty for solving a 4x4 blindfolded in under a minute once more, a few months ago he initially announced that he would be offering $600 to the first person (other than him) to solve a 4x4 blindfolded officially in under 1 minute.

He reannounced his offer by doing precisely what he seems to so desperately want to see someone else do - he solved a 4x4 blindfolded in under 1 minute again at an official competition. Unfortunately so far this year, no one has come anywhere near the required time, the fastest 4x4 blindfolded solve this year from someone other than Stanley is a 1:18.14 from Kaijun Lin, Hill Pong Yong Feng seems to have gone quite quiet and only competed in 4x4 blindfolded twice this year with pretty poor results by his standards.

I suspect it will be many years before Stanley Chapel is required to pay up but you just never know what could happen, maybe Ryan Eckersley from Scotland could succeed.
