Gan 4x4 V2 finally launching soon

Gan 4x4 V2 finally launching soon

I have posted multiple times here about the upcoming Gan 4x4 over the past year, ever since they released their 5x5, there has been speculation on the 4x4 as the 5x5 was very highly received and has been used to break multiple world records. Gan did actually release a 4x4 back in 2018 but it was pretty much universally hated by the cubing community and Gan probably want us all to forget that cube ever existed.

We now finally seem to have a release date for the Gan 460 V2, although that could change, suppliers in China are estimating that it will be available in China from May 20th, once I have pricing data I should be able to put it on pre-order.

I was actually able to try one out at Manchester Spring, someone had been sent a sample one by Gan (I think it was very random who they sent samples to) and I was not especially impressed, it was certainly better than their old 4x4 but based on my short experience with it, I think I still prefer my AoSu V7.

However, that is just my first impression and my opinion so I will await more chance to try it out, it is worth noting that I personally prefer the AoChuang V6 over the Gan 562
