With all the hype around FTO (face turning octahedron) continuing to grow, there has been some exciting news recently as someone on the New Cubes Subreddit posted some more details about DaYan's new FTO which will presumeably be releasing soon.

The video appears to show it having pretty good reverse corner cutting which suggests it will perform better than the DianSheng and the author has stated that it will have a ball core.

Historically, DaYan have produced some pretty good cubes but they have never really had any presence on western facing social media, I suspect they don't even have much in China because cubing stuff from Bilibili gets leaked onto western social media a lot more frequently these days. This means that we really won't know much about when it will be released, it will probably be reasonably soon though, people have been discussing this for far longer than any other recent release from DaYan.

The DianSheng FTO has been incredibly popular, I suspect people are just really excited that there is finally one that turns decently, I wonder if the DaYan will be just as popular when it is finally released.
