YJ have made a lot of new 3x3s in the last 2 years but most have them haven't received much attention, and a lot of the attention they have received has been negative, the MGC Beta may be the first cube YJ have made in some time that actually performs well. It comes in 3 versions which are all good value and it has good corner-cutting, there is a slightly higher risk of corner twists than would be ideal but in general it feels quite good.
