Last Sunday, Ariel Benchetrit broke the national record for Skewb average with an average of 2.06 at Stevenage April 2025. Ariel Benchetrit first broke the Skewb national record at Stevenage May 2024 last year, taking down the longest standing national record which was set by Fabio Schwandt all the way back in 2018. Ariel now holds 11 of the top 12 skewb averages ever achieved by a British speedcuber. He even managed to get another average in the final at the same competition which would have broken his old national record had he not already beaten it.
