The Void Cube is a classic puzzle featuring a regular 3x3 with a hole in the middle of each side, this makes for some interesting parity cases which can't happen on a normal 3x3 such as just two edges being swapped. The problem with all current Void Cube designs is that they have basically no corner cutting and are quite stiff to turn.
It appears that QiYi is finally fixing this problem with their new Void Cube, a close look at the design in the photo shows how it might just work, there are very small florian holes and there are things within the centre holes, it looks like this has the potential to finally turn well and finally convince me to sell Void cubes as previous designs simply weren't good enough.
