It has long been speculated that YJ are seeking to slowly complete the MGC series and a Square-1 is an obvious step closer! I personally do not do square-1 so am not really able to say much about it but I suspect it will challenge the dominance of the Volt V2M and hope to stock it pretty soon. It will leave the MGC series with only three events missing: pyraminx, skewb and clock, I suspect they have plans for those this year too!
