This appears to be another attempt by QiYi to branch into non-twisty puzzles, they have previously made products such as their magnetic 15 puzzle and this appears to be another interesting non-twisty puzzle from QiYi, they state that the pieces are all the same colour and suggest that it will be very difficult. here is their quote from their Instagram post:
'Xiangyun puzzle is different from traditional puzzles, without any color pattern markings makes this puzzle much more difficult to exercise the ability to identify and combine images.
The puzzle may seem simple, but it will be extremely challenging if you don't spell it out against the diagram.'
