The YJ MGC Megaminx is probably the best megaminx in its price range, it is an excellent choice for beginners looking to get into megaminx. It features more pronounced ridges in a different style to the YuHu V2M, while many top cubers prefer the YuHu V2M, the MGC does have a place in the market that some may prefer.

The Gan Megaminx is Gan's attempt at making a megaminx, some speedcubers like it. Unfortunately it comes with the torpedoes that somewhat let down megaminxes performance under the illusion of stability and anti-pop but nonetheless, it performs reasonably well.

The DaYan Megaminx feels nice and smooth and is incredibly light, weighing less than 100g! It does not just feel like the GuHong V4M, its design is practically the same! It has very slight ridges that are not too noticeable but enough to aid grip, the corner cutting is very nice, I am pleased that DaYan are back with another great puzzle! It still comes with the torpedo mechanism which I think slows down megaminxes to no benefit but despite that it still performs great.

The MoYu MoFang JiaoShi Meilong Megaminx is yet another excellent budget cube from the Meilong line, it performs very well for its price so it is an excellent choice for beginners looking to get into megaminx.

The DianSheng Galaxy Megaminx is DianSheng's first magnetic megaminx, DaYan have produced an excellent gigaminx and teraminx so hopefully their megaminx will also perform very well.
