Aidan Grainger breaks megaminx national record again

Aidan Grainger breaks megaminx national record again

Aidan Grainger broke the national record single for megaminx again today at Wiltshire November 2024. While Aidan Grainger received significantly more attention two weeks ago for breaking the national record for 3x3 with a time of 3.69 seconds, he has always focused mostly on megaminx and his achivements include having held the European record at various times and winning the European Championships in 2024.

His time of 25.18 places him 4th in the world, he has lost his european record to Timothy Taresenko from Russia but he keeps gaining ground on Sean Moran who used to hold the national records and at one point european records. The current world record is held by Leandro Martin Lopez from Argentina and is exactly 2 seconds faster, I wonder if Aidan will ever manage to achieve that.
