FanXin 3x3x4 + more weird stuff unboxing

Posted by Daniel Evans on

We are pleased to announce that we now have the Fanxin 3x3x4 in stock, this is a very interesting cuboid and it turns very nicely. I expected it to be very difficult but actually was able to solve it without too many problems, it requires a range of knowledge of a few different puzzles such as 2x2x3 (Square-1 even better), 4x4x4 parity (but not the standard PLL parity algorithm) and 5x5x5 L2E.

hints below under details tag:
L2E parity algorithms: Rw U2 Rw U2' x U2 Rw U2' 3Rw' U2 Lw U2' Rw2 F2 Rw U2 Rw U2' Rw' F2Rw' U2 Rw' U2' Rw U2 Rw' U2' Rw2 2x2x3 algorithm for swapping 2 corners (adapted slightly): R2 U' R2 U R2 y R2 U R2 U R2 U2 R2 special PLL parity algorithm (standard one from 4x4x4 doesn't work properly): Rw2 (U2 r U2 S2)2 Rw2
