In 2023, we saw MoYu simply refuse to release anything other than a 3x3x3, the total number of 3x3s released by MoYu in 2023 is slightly debateable as there are questions as to what denotes an actual unique cube. On April 30th, MoYu released a photo on their instagram account with a photo of 4 more 3x3x3s with a MoYu centre cap in the middle of the cubes with the centre caps taken off.
It appears to have the official MoYu logo instead of any logo from the sub-brands, this suggests that it is going to be a WeiLong V11, however, they may decide that naming it the WeiLong V11 would be a bad move and start a new brandline or resurrect an old one such as the AoLong.
It is unfortunate that MoYu seem to be solely focused on 3x3s, Gan used to be solely focused on 3x3s until they finally began releasing other puzzles from 2018. MoYu have some excellent puzzles of other events such as the WeiLong Pyraminx or their big cubes such as the AoShi WRM and they could release new puzzles which would massively solidify their dominance in those events.
