Matty Hiroto Inaba receives a new Gan 4x4 sample

Matty Hiroto Inaba from Hawaii, USA seems to be Gan's most trusted person for testing out new cubes as he has recently received yet another Gan 4x4 sample, he posted on Facebook stating that the samples keep getting better and better, this is really good news as it suggests that Gan is serious about making the best 4x4 they could possibly make and not repeating the errors of their original 4x4, the Gan 460, which I refused to stock as it wasn't good enough.

Gan released their Gan 562 last year and it has received excellent reviews, it was used by Tymon Kolasinski to set the current world record single. The mechanism of modern 4x4s is essentially like a 5x5 but with the middle edges hidden inside the puzzle, so usually cube brands will release a 4x4 and 5x5 at similar times, but it seems that Gan have chosen to delay the release of the 4x4 to make it perform as good as they can make it, obviously Gan don't intend to release new 4x4s as frequently as they release 3x3s, they hope that their new cubes can be popular for a few years to come, just like so many people still use the Gan 2x2 and skewb nearly 5 years since they were released.
