MoYu have now attempted to recreate Gan's classic and popular UV coated feeling available on the Gan 11, 12 and 13, while they initially did not call it a UV coating, they are now publicly referring to it as such. The coating feels very similar to Gan's coating but the cube itself is pretty fast and uncontrollable. Nonethless, I suspect with the correct set-up, both ball core versions can be excellent speedcubes.
