Picubeshop have released core magnetic versions of various speedcubes and twisty puzzles, in this video I introduce the core magnetic YuHu V2M, while it obviously turns what was originally a sort of budget cube into what is definitely not a budget cube, the main question resides in the performance. The best megaminxer will want the best megaminx to ensure they can continue to beat the competition. While the puzzle is set-up quite slow out of the box, the extra stability provided by the core magnets allows the puzzle to simply perform significantly better, core magnets do not really decrease the speed much but they do improve the stability which allows the solver to comfortably turn faster without fearing lock-ups and catches as much.
