The Gan 562 has been teased for a long time, it was about 2 years ago when Gan first announced that they were working on a 5x5 and I think about 4 or 5 months ago that Tymon Kolasinski got his one (and he has been competing with it ever since it seems). Finally, I have one and can sell them to the public, obviously the price is higher than many other 5x5s but it does perform well, I got my PB single on this cube but have otherwise solved rather inconsistently. Out of the box, the cube is kept on very tight tensions which reduces the corner cutting, I would suggest most cubers loosen the tensions unless your turning is incredibly inaccurate. The mechanism is very tightly packed together so pops are going to be very unlikely, I feel I need more time on this to determine if it is better than the Hong or other custom core magnetic 5x5s such as the PiCube AoChuang WRM or PiCube MGC 5x5. Gan will soon release a UV coated version too but at the moment the Frosted version is the only one available.
