The RS3M 2021 is the first cube to have magnetic levitation technology used in the place of springs, while the piece design is the exact same as the original RS3M 2020, the magnetic levitation technology provides a different feel by eliminating the friction that conventional springs would produce. This also eliminates spring noise and makes the cube exceptionally fast out of the box, too fast for most people I suspect!
