On Sunday morning, in the first round of 4x4 at Spanish Championships, Tymon Kolasinski from Poland woke us all up to news of his new 4x4 World Record Single of 15.18 seconds, this took down Max Park's previous World Record of 15.71 and improved on his own Personal Best by 0.73 seconds.
I will admit that I was a bit surprised even to see a 15, I had forgotten that people were now solving 4x4s in under 16 seconds, and now it seems someone has gone well under! Watching the solve just shows everything going so fast.
I wonder if Tymon will be first to get a solve under 15 seconds or maybe Max Park can get it back? Maybe someone else will catch up though? Only 32 people have ever solved a 4x4 officially in under 20 seconds and soon we may see someone go under 15!
Max Park still holds the World Record Average and I suspect Tymon Kolasinski is very eager to retake that record too.
