Gan 11M PRO stickerless primary
The Gan 11 M Pro is Gan's 2020 flagship speedcube, it is one of the best selling speedcubes on speedcubing.org, it features a new Gan design and comes with many different customisation features including multiple magnet strength and elasticity settings. It is also the first cube to feature core-corner magnets as well as the standard corner-edge magnets.
it turns fast out of box and is very enjoyable to use became main 3x3x3 in 5 seconds
I bought myself a GoCube a couple of years ago to learn cubing on and when my son expressed an interest I bought him a GAN 356 M. I had a play with the GAN and it felt really nice and smooth. I was aware of the GAN 11M Pro being a "nice but expensive" option and decided to treat myself.
By far my favourite cube, my other son has a MoYu Weilong GTS2M and I had originally bought a MoYu Weilong GTS2 (no magnets!). It feels very comfortable, just a joy to cube with. Maybe not the best choice if you are just starting out, the MoYu RS3M is much cheaper and is good enough to get started without spending loads of money.
You can adjust the magnets using 8 switches on the corner pieces, swap out the magnets and adjust the springs but I'm quite happy with it's default settings. It comes with a plastic case that is handy if you want to chuck it in your bag and a fabric bag and set of tools to adjust it.
Nothing more to say, really. I got into cube-solving fairly recently and decided to buy a speed-cube. Wasn't disappointed. Not sure if it's the best for beginners since I know nothing about cubes, essentially. Yet, seems to be working pretty good, very smooth and quite fast, much better than my old cube. Communication from the owner has also been great, hence why I bothered to leave a review. :)
I had been looking to buy my first speed cube in almost 7 years, and I'm more than glad I picked this one. Great cube overall, movement is smooth, speed is really good, very high-quality build and mechanisms, basically what one would expect from a GAN cube. The magnets really do make a difference, and I have to say that the ability to change the magnet strength is well worth the extra price over a cube like the 11 M Duo. For anyone not having tried either or both cubes, having the safety net of being able to adjust the magnets on different settings is very welcome. I actually set mine on the 3rd setting. Not that the 2nd setting, which is the same magnet strength as on the 11 M Duo, would have been too hard to adjust to, but I'm very happy I'm able to have a cube that fits around me, instead of having to fit around a cube myself. I would recommend this cube, 10/10. Also very good delivery speeds and a very wholesome note from the owner of this store, which really shows the attention given to the customer. I'd definitely come back for more cubes!
I used the ms3v1 cube before as my main, i also had the yj mgc and the giiker smart cube, these have smooth feelings, but the gan 11mpro has more of a crunchy lightweight feeling. Its turning effortlessly and the magnets are basically perfect for it. Highly customizable and i used the frosted version and its pretty good.
