DianSheng have recently teased a magnetic skewb diamond or 2x2 version of the FTO. DianSheng started a revolution with their Face Turning Octahedron as it was the first mass produced magnetic FTO, it encouraged lots more people to get interested in the event and it has been held unofficially at quite a few competitions since. It seems DianSheng have decided to try and release a 2x2 version which hasn't really been seen much before. Lanlan previously released this puzzle many years ago, just as they did with the regular Face Turning Octahedron but it obviously didn't turn especially well so it is exciting to see a good version of this puzzle.
