DianSheng have shown a fully functional prototype of a magnetic petaminx on their Instagram which suggests it is going to be released soon. Since DianSheng began caring about making competitive and unique speedcubes, they have sought to make larger and larger magnetic puzzles, both nxn cubic puzzles and minx puzzles. In the past year or two we have seen the first two petaminxes that turn well from ShengShou and YuXin, we can basically just assume that the DianSheng one will be significantly better but it will probably be more expensive than both, the prices on petaminxes seem to increase a bit more than would be expected but it does have a lot of pieces - 1010 of them!
