QiYi Mirror vs Gan Mirror | Which is better?

QiYi Mirror vs Gan Mirror | Which is better?

The QiYi Mirror cube is the 2nd magnetic mirror cube to be released and it is available at a significantly lower price to the Gan Mirror cube, obviously we all expect Gan cubes to be more expensive as that is kind of what they do, but how does the new QiYi Mirror cube compare to the Gan Mirror?

I initially just gave the QiYi Mirror a few extra points for being so much cheaper, the Gan Mirror would have to prove it is worth the extra. I found the QiYi Mirror to have slightly better corner cutting than the Gan Mirror, this is even despite the QiYi Mirror coming on tighter tensions for this video, I then also found that the QiYi Mirror is slightly more stable but the Gan Mirror is slightly faster. Both mirror cubes come in at 56mm which is still pretty normal, many recent 3x3 releases have been slightly smaller but Gan flagships still remain at 56mm, both also have the exact same height differential so there is no question at the moment of pushing those boundaries.

It is one concern with regulating mirror cube if it were to ever be an official event: How big does the height differential have to be? Would it not be optimal to make it as small as possible so the puzzle can function as close to a 3x3 as possible?

I finally did a solve on these two mirror cubes, unfortunately I was rather slow both times and really messed up the editing, however, I was slightly faster with the Gan Mirror on that occasion.
