YiHeng Wang breaks 3x3 world record average again!

YiHeng Wang breaks 3x3 world record average again!

On Saturday morning at Taizhou open, YiHeng Wang broke the 3x3 world record average again by just 0.01 seconds, this is his 3rd sub-4 second average and proves that the 4 second barrier was far from just a one time occurrence.

His counting times were 3.83, 4.25 and 3.62 with his best and worst times of 3.35 and 4.97 taken off the average, I plan to make reconstruction videos for each solve once more, it will be interesting to see what he did, he has been doing some unusual stuff in his solves recently which may be making him even faster.

There are a few videos of the record available, although all youtube shorts such as this one.

His average movecount for the average was 53 which is certainly lower than normal for CFOP, his fastest solve of 3.35 had a movecount of just 44.
