My favourite 2x2 Cube

I have a few 2x2 cubes (including a top of the range Gan) and this is now my favourite. All my X-Man cubes have been excellent. Seller shipped very quickly and I will certainly return as a customer.

This Cube should have been very promising as it is from QiYi X-Man range. Unfortunately, it is very disappointing. It looks great, but that is where the good points stop. It snags and locks up randomly while solving. This keeps happening, and I have tried to work out where the problem lies and I can't work it out !! Try the QiYi MP or the MS , much better in my opinion.

The X-Man Flare 2x2x2 is the first 2x2x2 to come with changeable magnets, meaning you can change the strength by just moving 3 switches. It retains a QiYi feel, similar to the Valk 2 and QiYi MS but is generally faster but a bit lacking on the corner cutting unfortunately which can lead to some annoying lock-ups. It is definitely a nice 2x2x2 and the cheapest of the main flagship 2x2x2s at the moment at just £13 (despite being the only one with changeable magnet strengths)!
