The dominance of YiHeng Wang and XuanYi Geng has reached a new high over the past month as it was recently noticed that every single one of the top-100 official 3x3 averages ever done at World Cube Association competitions were achieved by 3 Chinese Cubers (with 98 of them held by just two).
To enter the top 100 results you will currently need an average of 4.62.
World record holder YiHeng Wang has 72 of these top-100 results, the 2nd fastest in the world, XuanYi Geng has 26 of them, and finally, YuFang Du has mas managed to scrape in and get 2 of these results.
Former world record holder, Tymon Kolasinski from Poland, is still ranked as the 4th best cuber in the world and yet is not even on the top-100 results! His average of 4.67 seconds simply is not fast enough anymore.
This is a unique moment in cubing history where 2 cubers are so dominant that this is possile, I suspect it won't last too much longer as other cubers such as Teodor Zajder rise up and challenge the Chinese dominance. YiHeng Wang recently got a 4.16 average of all his rounds at a competition, this ties Feliks Zemdegs PR single.
