QiYi QiFan S2 6x6x6

The original QiFan S was rubbish as are basically all budget non-magnetic 6x6s such as the meilong and MF6 (and the shengshou mrm, it isn't fully magnetic!). As an experienced 6x6 solver I can have some idea of how good a cube will be by looking at it and it looks to me from the photos like it will definitely be better than current budget 6x6s. The interesting thing is that it is likely to be a budget version of the shadow V2 which is in testing stages at the moment, probably made with cheaper plastic and a simpler design...

RS3M 2020 Vs QiYi MS

This cubing comparison may be the decider for some people who cannot make up their mind on whether to purchase the QiYi MS 3x3, or the RS3M 2020. This is part one of the experiment to decide which cube can do better under different circumstances. In this case, I wanted to see which cube would do better (solve time wise), without any cube lubrication. The quick answer to this, is the RS3M 2020. Here is the long answer. When using the same scrambles for each solve, even though I used the RS3M 2020 for the first run-through, it still had...

QiYi Clock

A few months ago, people would pay a lot of money to get the clock pins magnetized and a lingao clock set-up well, now this clock comes not just with magnetic pins but magnetic gears too, it is expected to be an excellent clock and completely change the clock market. Clocks have been teased for years, I think it was 2016 when QiYi first teased a magnetic clock, and MoYu did the same but later admitted they couldn't make it any better than the LingAo. Finally, this has been released and we can expect it to be better than the...
